01 — The Dear Kaia III Launch
We started this year close to our hearts with our Dear Kaia III Nameplate Necklace. This necklace is an ode to immigrant families and the many challenges they’ve faced to build a life here.
When Jennie was 12 years old, her family emigrated from South Korea to Southern California. Like many Korean immigrants, she and her brother were tasked with choosing “American” names—혜정 (Hye-Jung) became Jennie and 영준 (Young-Jun) became Kevin.
The Dear Kaia III Nameplate Necklace and Bracelet are available in six Asian languages—Korean, Japanese, Chinese, Thai, Vietnamese, and Bengali.
02 — Fast Company—Most Innovative Award
This year, Kinn was named one of Fast Company’s Most Innovative companies.
A proudly AAPI female founded and led brand, we were being recognized for our efforts in the fine jewelry and luxury space. Setting the standard with some of the most accomplished brands of the modern world, Kinn is humbled to share this honor with so many groundbreaking companies.
03 — First Men’s wedding band—The Milo
In May, we launched our first His & Hers wedding band. Crafted with 14k solid recycled gold, this piece is designed to celebrate a lifelong commitment with a timeless modern heirloom—then, now always.
04 — Vintage 12.0
Kinn released four vintage collections this year. These pre-loved pieces are sourced, authenticated, and cleaned prior to making their way onto Kinn’s website. By integrating a vintage marketplace where pieces seamlessly align with Kinn’s signature aesthetic, the Kinn community has access to one-of-a-kind resale pieces and the thrill of the find.
05 — First Silver Collection Launch
With the launch of The Sculpture Collection, our first ever full silver assortment, we’ve expanded into a new category.
Inspired by Jennie’s recent travels to Greece—a week spent with her family in the Mediterranean meant returning home with a clear mind, and a craving to explore a new visual narrative at Kinn. Working with sterling silver lets us create bolder pieces, made to be styled and stacked with yellow gold classics.
06 — Our New LA Studio
