Kinn's Story

In early 2016, following a burglary at her parents' home, Jennie shopped around in hopes of replacing pieces that were stolen. Jennie realized a customer disconnect and the challenges of shopping for fine jewelry: steep prices and a lack of education. In late 2016 Jennie began metalsmithing classes as a hobby, hoping to make new pieces and recreate her family’s stolen heirlooms. Jennie worked with and learned from the manufacturer Bench Jewelers. Kinn Studio™ was established in October 2017 in downtown Los Angeles.
