Korean American Day Initiative

alt="Korean American Day Contest Winner, Okko"

We asked you to help us celebrate Korean American Day by nominating your favorite AAPI small businesses and startups, and we're so happy to congratulate okko! (@okko.co)

okko, which stands for Our Kind of KnockOut, was founded by Phoebe Kunitomi in 2018. The daughter of a Korean mother and Japanese father, she applies her minimalist upbringing in okko's timeless and comfortable designs, which prioritize function over frills. She believes that women of all shapes, sizes, and colors should have underwear "that just works."

okko's founder, Phoebe Kunitomi, will be directly mentored by the founders of Kinn, Dagne Dover, and Tower 28 Beauty.
