A new Kinn tradition—this year, we asked you to help us celebrate Korean American Day by nominating your favorite AAPI small businesses and startups. We're so happy to congratulate ZIRAN (@theziran), who will be directly mentored by Kinn Founder & CEO Jennie Yoon.
AAPI female founded ZIRAN was started by Kelly Wang Shanahan in 2016 after she became disillusioned with the luxury fashion industry and its waste, fast fashion mentality, and lack of purpose. ZIRAN is helping to preserve and protect an ancient tradition. The first and only brand using xiang yun sha silk in North America, their clothing is made-to-order and hand cut and sewn in Los Angeles.
