Where Memory Begins

At Kinn, we believe tradition isn’t about grand gestures. It’s the quiet rituals, the personal keepsakes, the moments that stay with us. For chef and founder Camilla Marcus, Mother’s Day isn’t about curated perfection—it’s about presence.

At Kinn, we believe tradition isn’t about grand gestures. It’s the quiet rituals, the personal keepsakes, the moments that stay with us. For chef and founder Camilla Marcus, Mother’s Day isn’t about curated perfection—it’s about presence.

“One of the family traditions that's so special to us,” Camilla shares, “is that capsule moment of when each of our children was born.”

With four little ones under five, the Marcus household hums with joyful chaos. Still, Camilla makes space for intention. A single engraved frame marks each child’s arrival—time, weight, the quiet details that say: you are known, you are loved.

“It becomes this very beautiful capsule,” she says, “something special for each of the children.”
During that first week of newborn life, a close friend photographs their family on film.

“We always have a friend come and shoot us… capturing that glorious mess,” Camilla says, “the moment that you're made a mom, the moment that you're made a mom again.”

It’s raw. Unfiltered. And unforgettable. A celebration of the threshold between who we were and who we’ve become.

At Kinn, we hold space for those moments. The ones that feel both ordinary and sacred. Every piece we design is made to carry memory—to mark what matters. Crafted in 14k solid gold, our heirlooms are built to last, to be held close, to be passed on.

They aren’t just jewelry. They’re stories.

This Mother’s Day, we’re honoring traditions like Camilla’s: intimate, imperfect, deeply personal. Because some traditions aren’t taught—they’re felt. A piece of history. A future heirloom. A tradition worth passing down.
