When people ask me what I do, I tell them I have a jewelry company. I focus on designing, manufacturing, and delivering jewelry to customers—as is the essence of a jewelry company. While the product and its quality is essential to our success, I've come to realize that the crux of our business lies in our clients’ stories. We wouldn’t exist if it weren’t for their milestones. We wouldn’t have a mission or a brand voice if it weren’t for their narratives.
To me, such narratives are the threads that weave our entire organization together. We grow alongside our clients and without knowing it, they help us make the best marketing and brand building decisions.
With the launch of our new website, a digital space created to honor the stories that fuel our mission, we are redefining the meaning of the word “heirloom” in fine jewelry—and in luxury as a whole. I've always believed that jewelry is not simply an accessory but a companion to life's adventures. While working on the site, we prioritized your feedback and kept you at the core of our end goal. We strive to help enhance your personal style, guide first-time diamond buyers, and let you discover lasting pieces to pass down through generations.

Rooted in AAPI Femininity, Shaped by Personal Journey
Our new site celebrates our AAPI background and commitment to female leadership. My personal journey, from navigating immigration to the US as an adolescent to fully embracing my identity, is in many ways the soul of our studio. My transition from my given name, Hye-Jung, as a young girl in a new country to founding Kinn reflects a core part of our identity: AAPI Born, Woman Led. The Heritage collection pays tribute to both mine and to clients’ personal stories.

We're injecting new life into the world of fine jewelry. Our curated Vintage collection caters to vintage enthusiasts and reflects our dedication to conscious practices. Hand curated and nostalgia inducing, each vintage piece has a past and a future. I love to see how clients resonate with specific pieces, whether it’s their favorite birthstone set in a bold ring or a piece that reminds them of their grandmother. Further, our KinnCycle® program encourages clients to engage in more meaningful consumption, transforming unwanted pieces into cherished heirlooms.

When I first started recreating pieces stolen from my parents’ home in 2016, I quickly discovered a knowledge gap between jewelry makers and consumers, and a sense of intimidation associated with first-time diamond purchasing. With our new Diamond Guide, we want to change that. I want to give you honest guidance while demystifying the process. We're here to empower you with knowledge and ensure that your search for the perfect piece is as meaningful as the stories it will hold for a lifetime.
