Your Vow ring is made to be worn every day and cherished for a lifetime. To preserve its beauty, avoid contact with harsh chemicals, lotions, and perfumes, and remove before any strenuous activity. When not worn, keep your ring safe in its Kinn packaging.

Clean gently with warm water, a drop of mild dish soap, and a soft-bristled toothbrush. Let it air dry in a safe place, and polish with a soft cloth to restore its shine. For diamonds, we recommend an annual professional cleaning to maintain their brilliance and ensure the setting remains secure.

Your Vow ring is covered for up to two years against manufacturing defects, including loose diamonds, loose prongs, or faulty metal. During this time, we offer one complimentary resizing. Upgrade to our Kinn Concierge Service for extended coverage. Please note: normal wear and tear, improper care, third-party repairs, scratches, loss or theft, and discoloration from harsh chemicals are not included. Each Vow ring is handmade to order, and slight variations are a natural part of its character.

The Diamond Guide

GIA sets the gold standard in diamond grading, and at Kinn Studio we uphold its exacting 4 Cs—cut, color, clarity, and carat—for every natural diamond. For lab-grown stones, we offer GIA’s new refined “Premium” and “Standard” classifications alongside IGI’s traditional 4 Cs grading, so you can select what feels right for you.

4 C’s

Carat

Carat (often abbreviated as 'ct') signifies a diamond's weight, not size, influencing value. While larger-carat diamonds are generally more valuable, two diamonds of an equal carat can vary greatly in price, reflecting differences in their cut, color, and clarity.

What is a carat?

A carat weighs a fifth of a gram and is divided into 100 points, making precision in measurement essential to defining a diamond's actual weight for accurate diamond valuation.

Does carat size matter?

While carat size is visually striking, a diamond’s true worth extends beyond mere size. It’s a balance of size with color, clarity, and cut.

What is 'total carat weight'?

Total carat weight (often abbreviated ‘ctw’) combines the weight of all diamonds in a piece, offering a comprehensive measure of its diamond content and value.
