Email us athey@kinnstudio.com and we will try to accommodate pickups.

When will I receive my refund?

Returns are typically processed within 5-7 business days of their arrival at our studio. Once our team has processed your return, you will receive a refund confirmation email. Refunds are generally posted to bank accounts within 2-3 business days. 

Depending on the condition of the returned item, there may be a 20% restocking fee (i.e. if it's been damaged or clearly worn).

Please note that we are unable to refund shipping costs.

How can I process a return?

You can process a return or exchange through our returns portal. Please allow 5-7 business days for our team to process your return or exchange once we receive your jewelry at our studio.

If you placed your order on Facebook or Instagram Shop, please initiate your return request directly on the platform.

The Diamond Guide

GIA sets the gold standard in diamond grading, and at Kinn Studio we uphold its exacting 4 Cs—cut, color, clarity, and carat—for every natural diamond. For lab-grown stones, we offer GIA’s new refined “Premium” and “Standard” classifications alongside IGI’s traditional 4 Cs grading, so you can select what feels right for you.

4 C’s

Carat

Carat (often abbreviated as 'ct') signifies a diamond's weight, not size, influencing value. While larger-carat diamonds are generally more valuable, two diamonds of an equal carat can vary greatly in price, reflecting differences in their cut, color, and clarity.

What is a carat?

A carat weighs a fifth of a gram and is divided into 100 points, making precision in measurement essential to defining a diamond's actual weight for accurate diamond valuation.

Does carat size matter?

While carat size is visually striking, a diamond’s true worth extends beyond mere size. It’s a balance of size with color, clarity, and cut.

What is 'total carat weight'?

Total carat weight (often abbreviated ‘ctw’) combines the weight of all diamonds in a piece, offering a comprehensive measure of its diamond content and value.
